IET's Quiddity*Inference is a probabilistic inference engine based on Bayesian network and influence diagram technologies. IET is unique in its implementation of the Symbolic Probabilistic Inference (SPI) algorithm for Quiddity*Inference.

The combination of efficient SPI queries and the clarity of local expressions allow IET to tackle many challenges that other methods are unable to address. Additionally, Quiddity*Inference supports temporal reasoning with large-scale hybrid dynamic/static Bayesian networks.
